Red Shirt Leaders Announce the Bangkok Protest is Over

Leaders of the anti-government protest in Bangkok have told their supporters that the rally is over and that they should accept the offer by the government to provide free transport back to the provinces. Red shirt leaders, including the key figures of Nuthawat and Jatuporn, have now turned themselves in to the police. However, the fighting in Bangkok isn’t over yet with a hard-core faction continuing to exchange fire with security forces. Grenades have also been fired at the Thai troops.
