Ko Lipe View

Pictures don’t always tell the whole story. I took this photo yesterday from the viewpoint on Ko Adang island in the Tarutao National Marine Park in southern Thailand. It took me 40 minutes to climb to the highest of the three viewpoints, but when I got there (sweaty and a little out of breath) I was rewarded with some stunning views of the neighbouring island of Ko Lipe which I could enjoy in total isolation. With sea eagles flying overhead and the only noises coming from the drone of a distant longtail boat engine, it was another magical experience in Amazing Thailand.
