Actor David Carradine Found Dead in Bangkok Hotel

Bangkok: June 2009

Hollywood actor, David Carradine, has been found dead in his Bangkok hotel suite. Thai police are saying there was no evidence of a struggle or an assault and the 72-year-old actor committed suicide by hanging himself. His body was discovered by a hotel maid. Thai media group, The Nation, have reported that the actor had been staying at the Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel on Thanon Witthayu (also known as Wireless Road).

David Carradine had been in Bangkok filming the movie, ‘Stretch’. He will be remembered by different generations of viewers after starring in the classic 1970’s television series, ‘Kung Fu’ and then more recently appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s film, ‘Kill Bill’.
